If our desire is to grow a strong, vibrant, God-honoring family, we need to go back to where we started this week: our hearts. The truth is we can’t lead our families to become people we aren’t. We can only lead from where we are, not from where we hope to be someday.
That’s why the heart is so critical. If we want to have long-lasting, eternal influence in the lives of our children and grandchildren, our hearts must beat with God’s. Only from our love for God, and willing hearts of joyful obedience, can we begin to sow “seeds of influence.”
