TODAY’S MESSAGE

This past weekend Pastor Jeff Manion kicked off our fall series, A Doubter’s Guide to Jesus. In this series, we will explore where Jesus was, what he said and who he claimed to be. We will consider if our view of Jesus is accurate. To get the most benefit from this series, we encourage you to commit to do three things: Listen (to the weekend service), Read (the corresponding chapter in John Dickson’s book, A Doubter’s Guide to Jesus) and Discuss (in your small group).

When we look at Jesus as Teacher, we will find these words from Dickson’s book to be true, “Jesus, it seems, is destined to stretch our imaginations, confront our beliefs, and challenge our lifestyles for many years to come.” We see that he taught crowds of people because he had compassion on them and wanted to be their shepherd. We also learn that God is over all things and we must choose whether Jesus is our Lord. Through this fall series, we’ll be continually challenged by the Man from Nazareth.

IN YOUR CHAIR TIME TODAY
