TODAY’S MESSAGE
Through his wisdom and goodness, God has gifted every Jesus-follower with a special Spiritual Gift to serve in the body of Christ. Paul reminded the Corinthians, “All these [gifts] are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines (1 Corinthians 12:11).
They sought “showy” gifts and needed to hear God is the one who assigns the gifts, not us. All of God’s gifts are equally important to his purpose. It should move us that God loves his community so much he will provide everything we need to grow the collective church and spread his Gospel.
Just as he did in Corinth, the Holy Spirit gives us the exact gifts needed to accomplish exactly what he wants through our church.
There are countless areas to serve at Ada Bible Church (and all churches) with those gifts both upfront and behind the scenes. The body of Christ needs encouragers, teachers, hosts, healers, greeters, caregivers, cooks, drivers, trainers, preachers, gardeners, musicians, cleaners, accountants and so on. You are needed even if you are only available one weekend a month!

No matter your gifts—your church needs you! Start with prayer and ask God, “Please give me a heart of love that serves the church.
