TODAY’S MESSAGE

We have come to the end of this amazing series on The Way of the Wise. But the impact of God’s wisdom will continue working in our lives. At the beginning of this series, Pastor Jeff Manion emphasized there are two paths in our life which we can choose—the path of wisdom that leads to life or  a path that leads away from God.

During this series, we’ve taken a close look at several of the main themes in Proverbs: choices, relationships, time (think “Ant Power”), the heart and words. We’ve learned that what God says in these areas is wise and should be pursued as we journey with him.

Solomon gives us this wisdom so we will choose to do what is right. He wants us to use knowledge and discretion as we trust in God to help us. Always, “being confident of this, that [God] who began a good work in [us] will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus” (Philippians 1:6).

IN YOUR CHAIR TIME TODAY

Review the themes covered in this series and consider what path you are choosing. Feel free to catch up or watch again any The Way of the Wise sermons. What is one area that stuck out to you to work on right now? Commit yourself to God in that area as you ask him for help to grow.
