TODAY’S MESSAGE

Daniel interprets the writing on the wall and tells King Belshazzar that God has weighed him on the scales and found him wanting (Daniel 5:27). He’s about to lose everything. As Pastor Aaron Buer reminded us this weekend, we have all been found wanting. Yet God doesn’t leave us in this state and sent his Son Jesus for this very reason.

Jesus lived the life we could never live. He lived a life without sin. He sacrificed his life on a Roman cross to pay the penalty for all the times we sin and fall short of God’s glory. Through Jesus, we can have a restored relationship with God. Trusting in Jesus and following him is the only way we can live a life that honors God. Watch this video clip as Pastor Aaron Buer reminds us what Jesus has done for us.

If you’ve never prayed to tell God you trust in Jesus, you can do so today and begin a lifelong journey of honoring God. “God, I admit my life doesn’t honor you. I acknowledge I need Jesus. I believe he died for me and that you raised him from the dead. I place my trust in Jesus and his death on my behalf to forgive me and restore me to you. Amen.”

MATTHEW 11:28-30
