TODAY’S MESSAGE

We’ve entered the school of contentment, and it’s not a one-time lesson. As we grow in our journey in contentment with Christ, we will learn things again and again and again. The Apostle Paul reminds us we can rely on Christ’s strength to help us each step of the way. This week, we go to school to develop new, God-honoring habits with our finances. Deepening contentment and developing healthy habits require slow and steady faithfulness.

We need not be an economic genius to grow in financial freedom. Rather, consistent habits applied over time pay big dividends. It’s never too late, and we can begin today. The power and presence of the indwelling Christ will help us change our desires and grow in contentment.

Every area of our lives will change as we honor God with our financial habits. Arguments over finances with our spouse will decrease or even cease. Emergencies become hassles rather than crises because we’ll have financial margin. Peace will replace panic when unexpected bills arrive. Generosity will mark our lives.
